This life-size, movable hip model features the bones of the hip joint with plastic, flexible hip ligaments. Our bestselling hip replica can be used to show the natural movement of the joint including abduction, adduction, flexion, extension and internal/external rotation of the joint.
The model consists of the upper portion of the femur and the pelvis bone, allowing for the demonstration of the interaction of the femur head in the hip socket (acetabulum). The pubofemoral, ischiofemoral and iliofemoral ligaments are represented and can be removed from the model.
