The Clarius L15 HD3 is a lightweight, handheld wireless ultrasound scanner that brings high-resolution imaging directly to the patient. It connects to a compatible smartphone or tablet, removing the need for a scanner cable or conventional console. Its rechargeable battery provides approximately 60 minutes of typical scanning for convenient use across consulting rooms, rehabilitation areas and procedure spaces.

Its high-frequency 5–15MHz range prioritises detailed imaging of anatomy located within 7cm of the skin surface. The wide 50mm linear field of view helps practitioners follow longer structures such as muscles and tendons while examining small joints, ligaments, superficial nerves, vessels and surrounding soft tissue.

B-Mode provides real-time anatomical imaging, while M-Mode supports movement assessment over time. Colour and Power Doppler add blood-flow information for vascular assessment and procedure planning. These standard capabilities support musculoskeletal assessment, rehabilitation monitoring, vascular access, guided procedures and appropriate breast, thyroid, small-parts and superficial plastic-surgery imaging.
