This life-size foot skeleton model shows the bones of the foot and ankle, with ligaments. The ligaments are made of flexible plastic, and movable toes add realism and allow for the demonstration of basic movement function.
The foot and ankle joint model consists of a portion of the tibia and fibula, the tarsal bones (talus, calcaneus, cuboid, navicular bones plus the medial, middle, and lateral cuneiforms), the first to fifth metatarsal bones, phalange and distal phalange bones. The major foot and ankle ligaments are shown including the tibiofibular and talofibular ligaments.
The foot model is supplied with a base for easy display, and the stand can be removed for demonstrations.
